  1. Berlin's Modeselektor never cared much for being boxed in by genres. From their first release they mashed up elements of rave, hip hop and IDM to create their unique brand of techno. So it's no surprise that they've come to embrace dubstep recently, and this recent mix on Mary Anne Hobbes' Radio One show is a perfect example. The Jesse Somfay remix of Re:group sprints out the gate with a massive fusion of dubstep bass with techno atmospherics. Recent tracks by Robert Hood, Joy Orbison and even Thom Yorke also make the cut.
