With Foundation Bit, his groundbreaking debut, Disrupt had made a release that could have sat alongside King Tubby and other dub pioneers from the 70s, but which was infused with the bleeps and digital noise of present day London.

In 2009, Disrupt continued his run with a handful of excellent singles, marking him as one of the rising producers in what may be a new genre of music altogether.
